Workshy? is a song that fires back the question the Tory Government of the United Kingdom claimed the people of the UK were work shy. It criticises and mocks the hypocrisies of Osborne, Cameron and Clegg and exposes the lies they have told the people in a happy and rocking pop punk song inspired by the Clash.
lyrics
WORK!
Your workers to the bone,
and they can't buy their homes,
and tax them all their lives, so you can eat pies.
Reward the work shy and they can get by without ever having to try.
This is all their mess.
And we're paying the debt.
Raising your fees, they lied.
Coz they're all work shy.
Work shy!
B-B-B-B-B-BANKS!
In bed with all the ranks.
And sleeping with the flags.
To tighten up your belts,
So they can keep wealth.
Political stealth.
"What's yours is mine."
The thieves, they are having the time.
These are shameful crimes.
Robbing us all blind.
They promise the world and wave high.
Point their fingers, call the workers work shy.
Am I workshy?
Jail the bankers
Arrest the wanders.
Jail the bankers.
(Work shy wankers.)
